The SS United States Conservancy and Jim Pollin announce his $120,000.00 donation to save the ship’s historic 5-bladed propeller (highlights video).

The on-board announcement participants included Susan Gibbs, Executive Director of the Conservancy, Dan McSweeney, Managing Director of the SSUS Redevelopment Project, and Jim Pollin. Mr. Pollin was founder of The Pollin Group, a Washington, DC-based cruise management company that is now part of Cruise One.
